A fire truck round up

We recently celebrated one of favourite little boys, 3rd birthday, with a Fire truck party.

It was a great day, with lots of fun and games - and most importantly a great fire truck cake to set the scene. We used various shades of blues for the details including; balloons, blue cups, freddo frogs and blue striped chocolate crackles. This really made the red fire truck cake pop on the table, complemented by some red lollies.

This day inspired us to take a look at what others have done with this theme - and it's a popular one, not just for boys either! Thought I would share a round up of some our favourites with you.

Love these fire trucks that were featured on the Imprintables blog. Looks like they were loved by the adults as much as the kids!

These were used at a party that a mum threw for her twin GIRLS fire truck party - fantastic!!

Still using the blue and red, but there are touches of pink with the table cloths in the background of this shot, and the cakes were barbie style (but in blue and red!)

These fantastic firetruck printables can be found on the Paper and Pigtails etsy site. They are super cute. The popcorn with the addition of the red M&M's are pretty special and certainly help pull the theme together.

This final party was created by Crazy For Design for her sons birthday. She even created the fantastic fire truck cake! All the divine printables are available on her etsy site as well. They would finish off a themed party perfectly!

  1. We had a fire truck inspired party for my 4 year old earlier in the year, it was a lot of fun. There are some great images in this post!
